Library

The Library at Our Lady of Lourdes is an active and popular learning centre.

With an extensive collection of quality children’s literature available to read and borrow, it is a popular venue with the students. The Premier’s Reading Challenge is an annual challenge that is publicised through the library to encourage a love of reading in all children.

Our library serves as a hub for research, reading, collaboration and learning. Classroom teachers work closely with our Teacher Librarian to implement a research and information skills program, teaching students valuable skills when it comes to research and the gathering of reliable information.

All children visit the library once a week in class time to borrow books and at other times to research various subjects.
